The Historic State Theater Complex is the perfect place to host your business meeting, dinner, annual event, wedding reception, anniversary party, birthday party or club event.
Two venues are available for rent. They are the First
Federal Gallery and the Plum Alley Theater. The Gallery
will seat 232 with tables and chairs and close to 500 with only chairs. It is adjoined by a foyer and a full catering kitchen. The Plum Alley Theater is a black box theater with a large stage, sound and light booth and tiered seating for 130. Dressing rooms are also available.
1. Lessee is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility upon conclusion of the event. Lessee is also responsible for any damages to the premises during rental period.
2. State Theater is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
3. State Theater is not responsible for accidents or injuries sustained by lessee, its employees, patrons or anyone else using the leased premises during the event.
4. Use of premises shall not be a nuisance nor disrupt or interefere with other uses in the complex or its neighbors.
5. No smoking is permitted within any of the leased areas.
6. Alcoholic beverages shall be permitted ONLY BY
LICENSED CATERERS APPROVED BY THE
CITY OF ELIZABETHTOWN.
7. If lessee has employees working during a function, lessee must provide proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance to the Theater.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment of the estimate is due in full one (1) week prior to the date of the event.
The reservation deposit will be returned or additional rental fees will be billed
within two (2) weeks of the event. Reservations may be cancelled with a full refund
if done so in person or in writing four (4) weeks prior to the event. Any cancellations
fees assessed by catering, rental or other companies are the sole responsibility of
Lessee.
